Black Metal Agenda Vol 2/2010 Compilation Review


This a review of the second volume of the Black Metal Agenda compilations and we will review the songs one by one.

Starting off the compilation is Nosce Teipsum from Ukraine with "The Truth Of Existence(Tribute To Ball-a-Myth" a very epic sounding Ukrainian style song.

Next up is Phantasma from Slovakia with "Shudder" which is more a a blackened death metal song with a good amount of deep growls and guitar solos that utilize a great amount of skill and talent.

Next up is Draconis Infernum from Singapore with "Worship Me" a very fast raw and primitive sounding satanic black metal song that is a lot more different sounding than most bands that are from that country with some death metal influenced riffing.

Next up is Lilyum from Italy with "Obsessed" a very dark, raw and primitive sounding black metal song that utilizes a great amount of depressive high pitched black metal screams and cries.

Next up is Halla from Iran with "Evil" a very underground sounding raw and primitive blasphemous black metal screams that has some very high pitched black metal screams.

Next up is Prometheus Rising from Great Britian with "Fortresses Of Long Forgotten Woods" a more mid paced and atmospheric sounding black metal with a good mixture of slow and fast riffing.

Next up is Sinharasi from Malaysia with "Rajawali" a raw and primitive sounding old school black metal style song that has a mixture of both the 80's and 90's feeling to the sing.

Next up is Nattsvart from Sweden with "Tusen Öppna Saer" a very dark, raw and primitive sounding black metal song that mixes a good amount of thrash influences in the riffing.

Next up is Heimfahrt from Germany with "When I Died" a more slow and atmospheric sounding black metal song that utilizes of mixture of high pitched black metal screams, deep growls and clean singing.

Closing the compilation is Ajal with "Death Came When The Call Appears" a song that starts off very slow then evolves into a very fast and primitive black metal song with a great amount of high pitched black metal. screams.

In conclusion this compilation shows a lot of improvement over Volume 1 and is a good addition to a black metal collection. RECOMMENDED BUY.
